GTECH has a robust sustainability policy that goes beyond legal or government-mandated regulations. GTECH’s long-term strategy identifies three dimensions of sustainability:

  • Economic sustainability: creaction of long-term value for shareholders, but also increasing distribution of added value for all the stakeholders who are involved in Company activities;
  • Social sustainability: support of responsible gaming tools to counter problem gambling, to prevent from underage gambling, and to limit excessive gambling. Social sustainability also means support of local communities, through a variety of initiatives involving Company funds and volunteerism;
  • Environmental sustainability: investing in cutting-edge technology to monitor energy use to improve efficiency and contribute to a healthier planet.

The Company believes that the long-standing results of such a strategy, minimizes the potential negative external influences of economic activity, maximizes the Company’s initiatives on the community, and strengthens the Company’s reputation and trustworthiness.
